Dear Eagle Singer and Parent,
We will begin having rehearsals after school each Thursday beginning Thursday, February 2. This will be in preparation for our 3rd annual trip to Dallas on Wednesday, May 16 to participate & compete in the Sandy Lake Music FunFest. We will perform 2 selections for a panel of 3 judges. Students will be able to play at the park and we will have lunch. The cost of the trip will be about $40 per student. (transportation, entry fee, 44 tickets, & lunch) If this is a problem for your family, just let me know and I will locate “Angels” to help out with the cost for your child. I never want money to stop a student from participating in an event. We will need parent chaperones as well. Attached is a contract for you to sign and discuss with your child as to his/her obligations for this event. Students who do not bring back the contract will be removed from the Eagle Singers. We will practice each Thursday from after school until 4:30 PM. Please have a ride available at that time for your child. If you have any questions, feel free to call me. (903) 663-8003
